Donor Thanks

It's been a little over a year since Rocky's Adventure was published! And I have not forgotten all the folks who donated well over $2,000 to $10. I am grateful to each of you. You made a dream come true, and I hope you feel your money was well-spent.

I wanted to give a shout out to all the donors who contributed to my Go Fund Me page and also to those who have purchased a copy (or copies) of Rocky's tale.

I recently attended a local Lake Superior Writers event, and when asked how I was able to self-publish Rocky, I told them about my Go Fund Me project. A seasoned self-published author raised her eyebrows in surprise and said, "Wow! That's amazing. I've never heard of anyone being able to raise that kind of an amount for self-publishing costs!!! You should be really proud of yourself! You can teach us!"  

On those dark days when I have self-doubts, I recall that comment. But mostly, I think of all the support and encouragement (financial and other) I've received. 

I've tried to reach out and thank each and every financial donor, folks who've bought or ordered Rocky, bookstores and giftshops who've agreed to carry the title, to those who've sat through my readings, and suggested locations to pursue.

But let me shout it out again:  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!
